General Description
Jaws holding parts to be welded are pneumatically and hydraulically controlled. First part of the cycle removes oxides and equalizes surface condition by passing pre-heat current (parts may be oscillating). Second part of the cycle upsets the parts with a great force, squeezing imperfect metal outside of the joint, creating very strong bond.
This equipment is used to weld wide range of parts from automotive rims to knife and spoon handles.
Features Pre-heat, flashing and upset forces are controlled by combination of electro-mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic devices for precise control of the process.
Microprocessor control and multi-tap arrangement in transformers allows selecting precise parameters for welding various parts.
